Rex

So I happen to be sleeping above the only indoor swimming pool in Townsville..........................

This is the lovely Rex who did live below us but moved out this weekend to be close to his wife in hospital who has Alzheimer's Disease - heart breaking for him.

I managed to get a quick pic with him and his beloved pool where he swam with his wife each morning. He used to teach swimming at the Tobruk pool and was a lifesaver up here. He did a lot for the community.

He was also very passionate about his garden and the tropical plants that surround our appartment are evidence of his work. He reminded me of my wonderful grandaparents.
